Objetos [Objects], Julio Pacello, São Paolo, Brazil, 9 April 1969.

Slipcase: 310 x 430 x 75mm. Each print: 400 x 293mm (folded). Edition 70/100, signed by the artist.

Clothbound hardback slipcase containing thirteen screen prints on white card. Each print is cut and folded. Two of the thirteen prints act as the title page and the colophon for the book. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. This is the most substantial book work from the Noigandres Poesia Concreta period. Augusto de Campos provides the text-based poem work Abre, Azul, Amarillo, Roja for this work. Smaller scale publications were later produced by de Campos and Plaza, most notably Poemobiles (1975/2010), which used a similar cut-out sculptural technique. Another edition of this work is currently featured in the Enemies of Poetry: Resistance in Latin America exhibition at Museo Reina Sofía, Madrid (16 June – 26 July 2021). Condition: no tears or writing, some slight bruising to the corners of prints, some light soiling to covers, light spotting throughout (mainly occurs on white card and plain white verso of prints, which is very common for this publication due to storage in the humid climate in Brazil). Paper restoration has taken place to soften and neutralise the spotting. Priced accordingly.
